So if you are a Firefox 3 user, and want to see the photos on dA and other sites like the photographer ment them to be seen, turn on the color profile support by doing the follofinng:
1. Navigate to about:config
2. Find the line gfx.color_management.enabled. The value of the line should say "false." If it says "true", you already have the support active.
3. Click the line (it turns blue), and press enter. It should now say "true" on the value field.
4. Restart Firefox. The color management support is now active, and many photos on the web just look simply better.
At least Apple´s Safari has the support turned on by default. I dont´t know about other browsers. I do know that IE is not supporting color profiles, but that isn´t a real suprise - it doesn´t even support the newer CSS-standards.
I just can´t understand why Mozilla has this support inactive by default on Firefox
